What is the Sa-Baai-Nuat?

This unique full body treatment incorporates the use of the Thai herbal compress body ball along with Thai, Swedish and Shiatsu techniques. These techniques provide multiple benefits when combined together. The heat from the body ball allows absorption of the herbs into the skin and the strong aroma encourages intense relaxation. The Thai & Shiatsu techniques facilitate the release and movement of toxins and provide gentle passive stretching to the muscles and joints of the body. Therapeutic Delights special “Massage Me” essential oil when used with Swedish techniques assists the oils from the body ball with deeper penetration through the skin and inhalation of the aroma through the nose.

Why offer the Sa-Baai-Nuat?

For the practitioner:

 As body workers we overuse and abuse our bodies for the benefit of others. This daily wear and tear shortens our career and can cause us many health concerns. This treatment allows the therapist to provide a profoundly effective massage with little to no negative effects on our bodies. In fact, the heat and oils from the body ball can have healing benefits for our hand and fingers when used frequently. The heat from the body ball does most of the work for us by preparing the soft tissue and joints for the oils and the massage techniques. Once the oils from the herbs are absorbed into the body they go to work in all the body’s systems to provide benefits from the inside-out.

For the client:

 The heat from this treatment is great for clients who suffer from aliments due to cold temperatures or just prefer the heat

• It’s a perfect escape from the cold winter months
• Its multiple modalities provide relief from many common aches & pains as well a help with improving clients body awareness, joint flexibility & the removal of toxins.

• 20 CEU's for RMT's in Ontario
• 18 classroom hours (2 days from 9am-6pm)

• Maximum of 8 students (with 1 instructor & 1 assistant) in each class to provide one on one training & support
